Bounce Puzzle is made by Yuecheng Wu and is free to play. This policy explains what the app collects, what it sends elsewhere, and what stays on your device.
Bounce Puzzle is available on iOS only.
The short version
Bounce Puzzle never asks you for your name, your email address, or any other personal detail, and there is no account to create. Your progress lives on your device.
The app does send anonymous gameplay statistics and shows ads, and those use services run by Google and Apple. What each one receives is listed below.
What stays on your device
All of your game progress is stored locally and is never uploaded:
- Which levels you have finished, and the stars you earned
- Unlocked levels, worlds, and cosmetic skins
- Your saved replays
- Hardcore mode runs and high scores
- Your settings, including sound, music, and haptics
Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no backup and no way to restore it, which is worth knowing before you delete. Deleting the app also ends any further collection by the services below.
What is sent off your device
Gameplay statistics, through Google Firebase Analytics
When you start, finish, retry, or fail a level, the app records that event. Each event carries the level number, which world it belongs to, and the platform.
It does not carry your name, your email address, or anything you have typed.
Firebase Analytics also collects standard technical information on its own, including a randomly generated app instance identifier, your device model, operating system version, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google's practices are described at Google's privacy policy and Firebase's privacy documentation.
Ads, through Google AdMob
The app shows occasional full-screen ads, and optional ads you can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward.
Bounce Puzzle requests non-personalized ads only. Ads are selected from the general context rather than from a profile of you. Google still receives the information it needs to deliver and measure an ad, including your IP address and device information. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app asks for your ad consent choices the first time it runs, using Google's consent management platform. You can change those choices later from the app's settings.
Game Center, through Apple
If you are signed in to Game Center, the app reports your achievements and scores to it. This is handled by Apple, under Apple's privacy policy, and Bounce Puzzle does not read your Game Center profile or store anything from it.
What the app does not do
- It does not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
- It does not request your precise location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone, or your camera.
- It does not sell your information to anyone.
- It does not show personalized or interest-based ads.
- It does not ask for permission to track you across other apps and websites, and it does not use the advertising identifier on your device.
- It does not contain any web content, so it sets no cookies of its own.
Video posting to TikTok and Instagram
Bounce Puzzle has accounts on social platforms, and promotional videos about the game are posted to them automatically through those platforms' APIs, including TikTok and the Meta Graph API. This runs outside the app, and nothing from your device is involved in it.
That automation posts videos about Bounce Puzzle and nothing else. It does not collect, store, or process personal information about anyone from those services. Each platform handles its own data under its own policy: TikTok and Meta (Instagram).
Children
Bounce Puzzle is rated 4+ on the App Store and is played by people of all ages. There is no account, no chat, and nothing anywhere in the app that a player can type into.
The app collects the same thing from every player: the gameplay statistics described above, and nothing else. Ads are non-personalized for everyone, so no player is profiled for advertising, at any age. Bounce Puzzle does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
If you are a parent or guardian with a question about what the app collects, write to the address below. Deleting the app stops all further collection.
Security
Information sent to the services above travels over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when the app's behaviour changes. The last updated date at the top will change with it, and the current version is always the one published here.
